Frequency Plots
Frequency plots rank the data in each
simulation, divide it into categories with the same range, and show the number of years of
data that fall in each category. Frequency distributions are useful for analysing the
skewness of the simulations and for identifying outliers.

To analyse simulations using box plots:
- Open the [Charts] menu and select [Frequency
],
or click on the
icon on the
toolbar.
- Select the data for analysis in the Frequency form.
Choose the simulation(s) you wish to analyse in the upper selection window, and the data
you wish to analyse in the lower window.
- Choose the number of categories into which the data will be
divided (1 to 10).
- Choose whether to view a frequency or probability
distribution.
