Aims:

This proposal is for QRAIL to help sponsor a number of activities over the next three years where APSRU tools and information are made more readily accessible to QGGA members. Over the next three years it is proposed to utilise QRAIL sponsorship funding in four related activities.

3. Conducting regional workshops on soil, climate and crop outlook

Acknowledged sponsorship of QRAIL in publicity and on all workshop material provided to participants and media QRAIL logo on FARMSCAPE newsletters, multimedia products and Web site, and acknowledgment in articles and databases.

4. Reporting of relevant experiences, development of multi-media resources and updating of FARMSCAPE2 web page

Up-to-date information of soil, climate and crop outlooks readily accessible to QGGA members

These four areas of work not only complement planned APSRU activities but also can have close linkages with activities of groups such as the DPI Farming Systems Institute and with other funded projects, especially th three GRDC Farming Systems projects in Central Queensland and the Western and Eastern cropping regions of south-east Queensland. Therefore is QRAIL/QGGA Sponsorship will be utilised to add value to planned activities of APSRU and other collaborating projects.
