APSRU Science Day 2005
APSRU will be holding its annual Science Day and
Stakeholder Update Meeting on Tuesday 6 September 2005.
This year the event will be held in Brisbane after a very successful program in
Canberra in 2004. The venue will be the Queensland Bioscience Precinct, The
University of Queensland, 306 Carmody Road, St Lucia.
Please put this date in your diary as this will be an important opportunity for
APSRU to report on its science, impact and future direction. As the current 5
year phase of APSRU is due to finish in 2006, this event will also be useful in
gaining feedback and input from our key stakeholders including home
organisations, collaborators, clients and staff. Feel free to invite any of your
colleagues who may be interested in APSRU's field of research.
Additional details on the program will be available in coming weeks.
Fill out the Science
Day Registration Form and fax it back if you wish to attend. I would
encourage as many APSRU staff as possible to attend the day program and
associated dinner that evening.
This year we will also be offering an optional training program for novice APSIM
users over the 2 days (7 & 8 September 2005) immediately following the Science
day. This is primarily aimed at external (fee paying) users. A
Training Program and
Registration Form is available should you wish to be involved.
